About Heart Haven

In the summer of 2023, our family enjoyed setting out on an unforgettable road trip to one of Canada’s most beautiful spots—Jasper and Banff National Parks! The journey was like a breathtaking painting, with layers of majestic mountains unfolding before us, enveloping us in a delightful sense of peace and wonder. The journey encountered several bumps along the way. After traveling for about a day, we found the petrol tank nearly empty. To complicate things, the GPS indicated that the nearest petrol station was still quite far away, and we were heading in the opposite direction. Anxiety and fear began to settle in, and our patience started to diminish. As we grew uneasy about our path, a rest stop unexpectedly appeared. We decided to pull over and check the map to ensure we were on the right track before proceeding. With renewed confidence, we continued our journey. Though this episode was nerve-wracking, it added a memorable twist to our trip adventure.

In reality, the same holds true: We embrace our dreams and goals, pushing hard forward, but at some point, we suddenly find that we seem to be drifting further from our original intention. Our physical and mental energy is gradually exhausted, and psychological pressure washes over us like a tidal wave. We need to stop, reorganize our thoughts, and reset our direction to find the inner peace and strength to begin anew.

This is why Heart Haven Counselling exists. Let Heart Haven accompany you on this part of your journey. The road may not be easy, but you don’t have to face it alone. Heart Haven is here, walking alongside you toward a brighter future.
